HK-listed Greentown China forms jv with Wharf unit to develop Hangzhou site

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Greentown China Holdings Ltd said it has agreed to
form a joint venture with Harbour Centre Development Ltd, a unit of Wharf
(Holdings), to develop land in Hangzhou, eastern China.
Greentown will take 60 pct of the joint venture, while Harbour Centre
will own the remaining stake.
The site, which was acquired by Greentown for 3.49 bln yuan, will be
developed into residential and commercial properties with a total gross floor
area of 296,800 square meters.
