i-Cable unit wins exclusive rights to broadcast 2008 Olympics games in Hong

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - i-Cable Sports Ltd, a unit of cable television
operator i-Cable Communications Ltd, said it has been awarded the exclusive
internet and mobile platform exhibition rights to broadcast the Beijing 2008
Olympic games throughout Hong Kong.
i-Cable Communications is a unit of Hong Kong-listed conglomerate Wharf
(Holdings) Ltd.
The sports unit of i-Cable said it has also acquired the exclusive
broadcast and exhibition rights to broadcast within Hong Kong the Olympic
Games in Vancouver in 2010 and London in 2012.
The exclusive rights will allow the company to broadcast the games across
all media platforms in the Chinese territory.
