Hong Kong-listed Anex Intl to place 307 mln shares at 0.50 hkd each

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Anex International Holdings Ltd said it will place
out 307 mln existing shares at 0.50 hkd each to at least six independent
investors through Taiwan Securities (Hong Kong) Co Ltd.
The company said it expects to raise net proceeds of 149 mln hkd from the
share placement to fund property development and for general working capital.
The placement price is at a 12.28 pct discount to the closing price of 0.
57 hkd on June 21, the day before trading was suspended. The shares to be
sold represent 16.18 pct of Anex's enlarged capital, it said.
