Hong Kong-listed Panva Gas seeks to change name to Towngas China Co

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Panva Gas Holdings Ltd said it has proposed to
change its name to Towngas China Co Ltd, to reflect a recent change in the
company's major shareholders.
Hong Kong and China Gas Ltd, also known as Towngas, became Panva's
largest shareholder after it completed its purchase of a 43.97 pct stake in
Panva early this year.
The company will need to seek shareholders' approval on the proposal, it
said.
