Hong Kong-listed Playmates Hldgs plans separate listing for toy business

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Playmates Holdings Ltd said it is considering
spinning off and listing its toy business separately on the Hong Kong stock
exchange's main board.
The company said it submitted a proposal for the spin-off with the stock
exchange on Friday.
It said the decision may be influenced by regulatory approvals and market
conditions.
