HK's Harbour Centre Devt acquires land in Changzhou for 1.47 bln yuan

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Harbour Centre Development Ltd said it acquired a
plot of land in Changzhou in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu for 1.47
bln yuan.
The company plans to develop the 4.43 mln square foot plot into a
residential and hotel project with gross floor area of 8.68 mln sq ft.
The average land pricewas 169 yuan per sq ft, the company said.
Harbour Centre is 67 pct-owned by blue chip property developer Wharf
(Holdings) Ltd.
Harbour Centre today closed at 18.30 hkd, unchanged from yesterday.
