STOCK ALERT - HK-listed Vitasoy sharply higher after strong FY results

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Vitasoy International Holdings was sharply higher
after the company reported that its net profit for the year to March grew 6.9
pct year-on-year, dealers said.
The stock was up 0.20 hkd or 7.8 pct at 2.75.
Vitasoy posted a net profit of 123.75 mln hkd for the year to March,
despite tougher competition in the Hong Kong and overseas markets, the
company said.
Consolidated sales in the year rose 4.9 pct to 2.38 bln hkd from 2.27 bln
a year earlier. It proposed to pay a final dividend of 5.7 HK cents,
unchanged from a year earlier.
