HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Lam Soon (Hong Kong) Ltd's results for the 18
months to June, compared with 12 months to December 2003:
Sales - 3.05 bln hkd vs 2.04 bln
Opg profit - 147.21 mln hkd vs 71.73 mln
Net profit - 85.13 mln hkd vs 38.24 mln
EPS - 0.35 hkd vs 0.16
Final div - 0.07 hk cents vs 0.06
The results cover an 18-month period from Jan 1, 2004 to June 30 this
year as the company changed its financial year-end to June from December.
The change was made as the company wanted to align its reporting period
with that of its ultimate holding company, Hong Leong Co (Malaysia) Bhd.
