Reed teams up with China's HC to provide fuel oil information service

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Reed Business Information (RBI) unit ICIS-LOR teamed
up today with Hong Kong-listed, mainland business information services firm
HC International (HK 0753) to provide fuel oil-related information to
institutional clients, HC said.
ICIS-LOR and HC's subsidiary, HC360, will jointly track fuel oil trade in
the domestic and international markets, and provide trend analysis and
investigation reports, HC said in a statement.
The two sides might extend their cooperation into other areas in the
future, such as information services on crude and refined oil products trade,
HC chief executive officer Guo Fansheng told reporters.
ICIS-LOR provides independent pricing and market information on more than
120 kinds of products in the world oil and petrochemicals market, while its
group firm RBI runs magazines, newspapers and online services.
