STOCK ALERT - Hong Kong-listed Texwinca down on lower yr to March earnings

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Texwinca Holdings Ltd was lower in the afternoon
on announcing today that its year to March net profit fell 28.5 pct
year-on-year to 421.97 mln hkd from 590.56 mln, dealers said.
Texwinca was down 0.05 hkd, or 0.78 pct, at 6.35 on volume of 418,000
shares.
The company, which makes knitted fabric and yarn, announced that it will
pay a final dividend of 0.12 hkd, compared to 0.14 hkd a year earlier.
A trader from a local brokerage said support for the stock is expected at
6.20 hkd per share.
