Hong Kong-listed Asia Resources requests suspension pending announcement

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Asia Resources Holdings Ltd (899.HK) had requested
that trading of its shares be suspended from 9.30 am today, pending an
announcement in connection with the signing by the company on Friday (June 4)
of a placing agreement and top-up subscription agreement, the Stock Exchange
said.
The stock last traded at 2.475 hkd.
The company is engaged in the manufacture and sales of pharmaceutical
products and the provision of transport-related services.
