Hong Kong's ThinSoft Q1 net loss 4.48 mln hkd on sharply weaker sales

SINGAPORE (AFX-ASIA) - IPC Corp unit ThinSoft Holdings said it incurred a
4.48 mln hkd net loss in the first quarter to March, reversing the year
earlier net profit of 669,000 hkd as sales fell to 3.10 mln from 6.48 mln.
""The decrease (in sales) is largely a consequence of the lingering and
uncertain global market conditions that has exacerbated the tightening and
restrained IT spending trend,"" It said.
