HK's South China Industries 2002 net profit 15.217 mln hkd vs loss 136.962 mln

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - South China Industries Ltd (413.HK) said its 2002
net profit was 15.217 mln hkd against a loss of 136.962 mln the year earlier.
Sales fell to 1.707 bln from 1.72 bln and its operating profit stood at
10.192 mln against a loss of 126.447 mln.
The company's EPS was 0.0287 hkd, against a loss of 0.2583. It did not
declare a final dividend.
