K&P Intl unit in MoU to set up electronic products/parts jv in China

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - K&P International Holdings Ltd (675.HK) said its
wholly-owned unit, Technology Trends International Ltd, has entered into a
memorandum of understanding with a third party to set up a joint-venture
company that will manufacture electronic and related components and parts in
the mainland.
In a statement, the company said it will take a 41 pct stake in the joint
venture while the third party will take up the remainder.
Details of the joint venture have not been determined.
K&P International said the capital required for the venture will be
funded either by cash or through future fund-raising exercise.
