China Agrotech to buy intellectual property rights in pesticide

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - China Agrotech Holdings Ltd (1073.HK) said the
company has agreed to acquire the intellectual property rights of a
biological pesticide from the Biotechnology Research Centre of the Fujian
Agricultural School for 48 mln yuan.
The intellectual property right includes the technology for 2 existing
biological pesticides, and the exclusive right to continue the development
and production of the biological pesticide, it said.
The acquisition will be financed by internal resources, it said.
