STOCK ALERT - Pacific Plywood lower after FY results

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Pacific Plywood was down 0.004 hkd or 10.52 pct at
0.034 on 2.15 mln shares after the release of its full-year results, dealers
said.
In 2001, the company recorded a net loss of 61.014 mln usd, compared with
a loss of 28.696 mln in the previous year.
""The company has been making a loss for the past two years and it does
not seem possible for the company to turnaround its business in the short
term,"" said Giovanni Kuang, an analyst with Tung Tai Securities.
Pacific Plywood is a seller of plywood and veneer, and other related
products.
