Asia Resources H1 net loss narrows to 6.213 mln hkd from loss 17.463 mln

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Asia Resources Holdings Ltd (899.HK) said its
first half to September net loss narrowed to 6.213 mln hkd from a loss of 17.
463 mln a year earlier on the back of higher sales and lower finance costs.
The company said sales for the half rose to 26.712 mln from 19.890 mln
and operating profit came in at 416,000 against the year earlier's loss of 19.
89 mln.
Finance costs fell to 1.231 mln hkd from 1.56 mln.
The company's basic loss per share narrowed to 0.19 cents from the year
earlier's loss of 1 cent and it again omitted a interim dividend.
