HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Hanison Construction Holdings Ltd (896.HK), which
recorded a 24.7 pct rise in first half net profit, said its profit margins

In a statement releasing its detailed results, the company said it will
seek to maintain its competitiveness via strengthening management efficiency,
cost controls, improving standards and broadening its client base.
Hanison said Hong Kong is not likely to see an economic resurgence in the
immediate future.
In the first half to September net profit rose 24.7 pct year-on-year to
15.333 mln after a sharp rise in turnover.
Sales for the half rose to 569.395 mln hkd from 305.013 mln.
