| 1454 [Dow Jones] HSI extends losses in afternoon, down 0.8% at 18,458.73 vs intraday high of 18,687.36, on profit-taking following recent rally. Still, tepid volume of HK$29.22 billion suggesting selling pressure not aggressive. Taifook Securities keeps view that market "will still move sideways"; tips HSI's near-term range in 18,000-19,000. HKEx (0388.HK) suffers most from withering market volume, down 1.8% at HK$124.40; Chalco (2600.HK) off 3.1% at HK$7.53, likely hurt by news China has completed stockpiling range of industrial metals; Jiangxi Copper (0358.HK) down 2.8% at HK$13.14.
