| 0753 [Dow Jones] HK ADRs higher Friday vs local close, buoyed by Wall Street gains, with HSBC (0005.HK) +2.4% at equivalent of HK$63.58, China Mobile (0941.HK) +2.3% at HK$77.67. Oil stocks up, with Cnooc (0883.HK) +2.9% at HK$7.41, PetroChina (0857.HK) +2.8% at HK$6.50 and Sinopec (0386.HK) +3.5% at HK$4.72. China Unicom (0762.HK) +3.7% at HK$7.62, China Life (2628.HK) +3.5% at HK$24.36 and Chalco (2600.HK) +4.2% at HK$4.25. HSI +3.6% at 13,655.04 Friday. These stocks would translate to about 162 point or 1.2% gain for index at open if HSI tracked ADRs fully.(SUT)
