China's CNPC 2008 gas output up 13.7 pct

| BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), the parent of PetroChina, said gas production rose 13.7 pct in 2008.
The company did not give absolute figures.
CNPC processed 125 mln tons of crude oil last year, with output of oil products and ethylene at record levels, it said, without providing details.
CNPC's proven crude reserves rose by over 500 mln tons with gas reserves up by 300 bln cubic meters, it added.
