DJ China Life 2008 Premium Income Up 50% At CNY295.6B - Report

| BEIJING (Dow Jones)--China Life Insurance Co.'s (LFC) premium income rose 50% in 2008 to CNY295.6 billion, the Financial News reported Thursday, without citing sources.
The company's parent, China Life Insurance (Group) Co., posted a 46% increase in premium income to CNY321.8 billion, the central bank-backed newspaper said.
The group's total assets last year rose 6% to CNY1.28 trillion, the paper added.
