STOCK ALERT - HK-listed TCL Multimedia soars after returning to profit in Q1

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings was sharply higher
after announcing that it returned to profit in the first quarter of this year.
At 11.15 am, the stock was up 0.06 hkd or 18.46 pct at 0.385.
The Chinese television maker reported yesterday a first-quarter net profit of
167.6 mln hkd, reversing a loss of 67.28 mln posted a year earlier.
