Hong Kong's Yip's Chemical to place 50 mln shrs at 5.5 hkd each

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Yip's Chemical Holdings Ltd said it has agreed to place
50 mln shares at 5.5 hkd each, raising a net 269 mln hkd.
The placing price of 5.5 hkd represents a 6.78 pct discount to the closing
price of 5.9 hkd yesterday.
The company said it will use the funds for general working capital, capital
expenditure and business expansion.
